Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about Botox and dermal filler.
Before treatment
How do I know whether I need Botox or filler?
Broadly: if the line only appears when you move, that is what neurotoxin addresses. If you want more volume or shape, that is filler. If a line is visible when your face is completely still, neither will fully erase it. A free consultation is the way to work out which applies to you.
Am I too young or too old?
There is no correct age. Hyaluronic acid lip filler is FDA-approved for people aged 21 and over. For neurotoxin, what matters is whether you have dynamic lines that bother you.
Will people be able to tell?
Our entire philosophy is natural-looking results — conservative, strategic placement that prioritises your natural expressions. The goal is refreshed, never frozen.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes — no fees and no obligation.
The treatment
Does Botox hurt?
Most clients describe it as a tiny pinch — very tolerable. We use ultra-fine needles and can apply numbing cream beforehand if you prefer. The entire treatment takes under 20 minutes.
How long does lip filler take?
Generally 30–45 minutes including numbing time.
Can I drive home and go back to work?
Botox has essentially no downtime. After filler you can too, though you may be swollen.
How soon can I be seen?
Same-week appointments are often available, and scheduling is flexible including evenings.
Results and recovery
When will I see results?
Botox results typically appear within 3–5 days and peak at around 2 weeks. Fillers show results immediately, with final settling over 2–4 weeks.
How long do results last?
Botox typically lasts 3–4 months. Fillers last 6–18 months depending on the product and area treated. Individual results vary.
What is the downtime?
Most treatments have minimal to zero downtime. Botox: no downtime. Fillers: possible minor swelling for 1–2 days.
What if I do not like the result?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Neurotoxin cannot be reversed — it wears off over 3–4 months, which is why conservative starting doses are widely preferred.
Will I look worse if I stop?
No. Movement returns and lines resume the course they were already on. You do not end up worse than if you had never started.
